Hi Andrew etc. First, I'm playing catch up with email, so the following info might be redundant. Second, I'm not sure it is possible to extract just the audio. As far as I can tell, audio + video is stored in a single file (a .vob file) on the DVD. So what you need to do is extract the vob files, then use another program to extract the audio from the .vob files, then use some audio program (e.g., audacity) to get the resulting .wav files into shape for burning to cdr. the site www.afterdawn.com has a lot of info on extracting info from dvds. If I recall correctly, the online tutorial on making a SVCD includes as a step in the process generating a .wav file of the audio for the dvd. good luck, whit On Tue, 8 Jun 2004, Andrew Mortensen wrote:
