My review's in the queue (too long, needs approval)
From: "Andreas Dietz" <andreasdietz@hotmail.com> Bugge Wesseltoft New Conceptions Of Jazz: groovy and danceable - highly recommended
Considering others liked this, guess I shouldn't've left. But it didn't start that promisingly to my ears, and I was dog-tired after the 12-hr travel time. :-/

Yup.
Sussan Deyhim Madman Of God: not perfect but interesting for me to see her for the first time
As I note in my review, I despised this.

Can you describe this? I got there too late, missed it, but was very interested, given the presence of Dafeldecker, Hautzinger, and Hauf.
From: Tim Blechmann <TimBlechmann@gmx.net> (i suppose scofield was bad, too. i left, before he could disappoint me)
So no one likes Scofield, huh? :) I've always liked him as a guitarist, and he didn't disappoint, no matter what the musical setting was, to me ears. -- Vincent Kargatis np: Pere Ubu - ST ARKANSAS (spinART)

I didn't know anything about any of the musicians, but was very surprised to hear very energetic and quite interesting set of acoustic jazz ruled and arranged by Pulsinger, who was manipulating with electronic sounds from behind the audience. The good thing about the set is that it had pretty strong improv sound but at the same time was not too simple or too heavy. That's almost all I can say about it as it was one of the first festival shows and there were too many things after that. -- Best regards, Peter Gannushkin e-mail: shkin@shkin.com URL: http://www.downtownmusic.net/

I got there too late, missed it, but was very VK> interested, given the presence of Dafeldecker, Hautzinger, and Hauf. it was quite an interesting concert, but completely different from what i expected. as peter wrote, it was basicly an improvised jazz group, whose sound was processed by patrick pulsinger. pulsinger didn't act as a bandmember, but more as an engineer or producer. he processed the band's sound or added electronic sounds.
