"Painted Desert" (which I find extremely boring despite the amazing lineup).
## yeah i was disappointed too, thought it would 'evolve more as the record went on.... still great tones from those 2!
Am I the only one to like this record? I find its ambience great, plus it is a cool album to listen to when people are around. And the guitar sound is so great! manolis

Well, it's not exactly that I don't like it, but I can hardly make it to the end of the album. I think it's quite monotonous, perhaps the tracks are too long for what's actually happening musically. The guitar sound is incredible and it's always great to hear Quine and Ribot together and I love Mori's drum machines here (and mostly everywhere). I'm with Efrén - the same reasons, I like the album, but I thought more would happen on it after reading the blurb - but yes, it's great background music & also fine performances & sound... -----Original Message----- From: zorn-list-bounces+andrewm=mail.selc.com.au@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:zorn-list-bounces+andrewm=mail.selc.com.au@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Efrén del Valle Sent: Thursday, 18 December 2003 9:18 PM To: Manolis; zorn-list@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: Ikue Mori / Selling Stuff

I was just wondering the same thing. I really like it alot too. I think any change to hear Robert Quine must be taken. Great, great guitarist. Rob Quoting Manolis <papagian@nat.vu.nl>:
