JZ gave a public interview before the concert, no real surprises there.
Did he comment on why Naked City decided to reunite suddenly after 10 years to do two shows? _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
I dont think he went into it seriously, or I missed it. He spoke a bit about the formation masada after NC, first as an electric band that didnt really work, then quartet, trio, sextet, to get back to forming the electric version only recently. He kept mentioning how he is misunderstood by the press and how major labels want to make money and all these stories. After the concert I was wondering, what is he talking about? He reunites his super group 10 years after they stopped playing, they play big festivals, obviously for big money. Then they present a greatest hit show and everyone is happy. Is that not a very "major" thing to do? where is the challenge? Dont get me wrong, I loved it, but i also needed an extra thrill from them. Wouldnt it have been scaringly awesome if in front of a large audience like last night, (mostly not really familiar with his work I assume -the other concerts here were rather poorly attended), NC would have played Lenh'Tche for example? manolis Arthur Gadney wrote:
