"Scene by the Sea" is about two deaf-mutes - a boy and a girl - who lives by the sea. Every day after work he goes to the beach to teach himself how to surf. She sits there and watches him. A very quiet movie (clearly), like an extended version of the husband/wife relationship in "Fireworks minus the violence. I think Image Entertainment has the DVD rights in America, don't know if it's available overseas. Ben

but in general I prefer the really sentimental ones without any cops or gangsters, e.g. "Scene by the Sea" & Haven't seen "Scenes..." What is that like?
