I caught some of these compositions at the Tonic w/Coleman, Rothenberg, Steinberg and Cain. Pretty fuckin phenomenal. A lot of it was sorta Shrek-like. Wim Vandekeybus is a belgian choreographer. the only cd of him i know of is 'immer das selbe gelogen'. sub rosa SUBCD023-45

"Inasmuch as Life is borrowed ..." is a dance performance with 11 male and female dancers/actors. The musical score was composed by Marc Ribot. The short film was directed by Wim Vandekeybus and written in collaboration with Jan De Coster.
