Anyone heard this new CD yet? This is a helluva group to see live - no doubt...

indeed it is, it continues the expansion of tunes that tim usually takes on live. Breaking things out into solos and duos & energized group playing. There is a rhodes/drum duo that is killin outside jalapeno diplomacy and heads into a slamming guitar solo to introduce a new tune, traction. Its a two disc record, each disc has about 4 songs on it... gives you a sense of the length of each of these packed tracks. If you have the first scifri record this one is a solid follow up. If you are new to this band, even new to tim's music, its a great introduction.
