Agreed. I think someone mentioned the Wolf and Muddy box sets on Chess and if you're a fan, you need both of those.
That live Hound Dog Taylor record with "Give Me Back My Wig" is also as good as it gets.
BEWARE OF THE DOG is indeed a classic. Good call. I forgot about Sonny Boy Williamson (the second one)- that was some raw, primal stuff! Also, Son Seals early stuff on Alligator is quality material indeed. Heard James Blood Ulmer's recent blues project with Vernon Reid? I saw them a few months ago (at Irridium) and they tore it up something fierce.
