Packaging is cool handwritten excerpts of a score and an acedemic sounding bio.  recorded in  2000..The once through proves a couple things to me.. the album is programed nicely. its dark the last two (maybe 4) tracks are a cool breath of fresh air. and I am not immediatly attracted to it, which is ussuallya sign to me of staying power.
the coolest sound is a pump organ/acrodian/bass clarinet harmony interplay - Messiaen-istic
I also include some seach info I found trying to get some backround on the references in the titles

TITLE : SCELSI MORNING
http://www.classical.net/music/comp.lst/acc/scelsi.html

TRACK 1 - BATAILLE - rhythmic and chasing motivs. good opener - distructive
French essayist, philosophical theorist, novelist, often called the "metaphysician of evil." Bataille was interested in sex, death, degradation, and the power and potentialities of obscene. He rejected traditional literature and considered that the ultimate aim of all intellectual, artistic, or religious activity should be the annihilation of the rational individual in a violent, transcendental act of communion
TRACK 2 SCELSI MORNING .. a beautifull ambient peice that creeps ad surrounds me..
TRACK 3 and then she fell...  solo guitar delay, swells,  ambience
Track 4 EARTH - guitar, drums  samples .... rhymic noise

OK
TRACK 6 - GEESE
KILLS!! Ned Rothenberg destroys on the bass and sop clarinet with a cool (tounge slaping?) clucking, counterpoint, interplay with the acordian and pump organ..

the LAST four tracks are programed nicely ..the whole album flows movement to movement..

OVERALL dark with a bit of redemtion.
anyhow
gotta fly
