My favorite ' extreme' vocalist at the moment woulde be Maja Ratkje. She is a vocalist and composer from Norway and has imho made the best voice album ever: "voice" (Rune Gramofon 2002). She is also a member of the improvisation band Spunk (which is, again imho, a truely amazing band. Completely fresh and 'out-there' free impr0) Further names I am thinking of: Haino Keiji, Jaap Blonk, Yamatsuka Eye, Makigami Koichi, Adachi Tomomi Royal Chorus (great CD now out on Tzadik) Maarten Hepp
