Chris Potter

Holy Shit! Just saw Douglas's Quintet last night and although I have several recordings with C. Potter on them, I just realized he is the secret weapon of this band. This guy took my head off... BTW, the interview / promo cd from Strange Liberation is being distributed free of charge at the show, so be advised of those pesky e-bayers selling it :) The encore of Bjork's Unison (from The Infinite and or the original source material of Vespertine if you prefer) was great. What interplay between Douglas and Potter. The only bummer was the political commentary from Dave. I try to keep my politics separate from music but oh well.
