The reunion cd is great, a bit of a misnomer since it says on the cd that it was their world premier performance, though both Dresser and David Mott have played with Hemingway before. Mott is on "Outerbridge Crossing" as well which is like an augmented Bass Drum Bone with Mott and Reijseger. I have this on vinyl and I don't think it was ever released on cd. There's great playing on this record and this was one of his 1st band records, other than the couple that came out on Auricle. All the Hat cds are worth getting, most having Dresser, Reijseger, Michael Moore!, and Wolter Wierbos. "Special Detail" has Don Byron and Ed Schuller in place of Dresser and Moore. I would say "Demon Chaser" and "Down to The Wire" are especially good, containing really classic pieces, and the 2 on Random Acoustics, "Slamadam" and "Perfect World" are exceptional as well. You really can't go wrong with anything Hemingway has done. I'm going down to Calarts in March to see him play solo, with different band groupings, and an orchestra playing some of his compositions.
