I kind of lose interest in the Who after SELL OUT (not counting LIVE AT LEEDS and about 1/2 of QUADROPHENIA). It wasn't just the premise of a rock opera. When guys like PT start thinking rock'n'roll is important, it's as if they forgot the more basic truth -- the thing that happens in a white man's soul when he plugs a Les Paul into a wall of Marshall's.
