what FX is Laswell using currently?

I'm just curious as to what FX is Laswell using currently? I'm mainly asking this after hearing the Painkiller in NYC 2003 w/ Mike Patton as guest & Hamid Drake. Laswell's FX sound quite different from the Mick Harris days. He has more a fuzz than a distortion.... anyone know?
