I agree with you, also the other comments you made. But the over-using of Masada tunes, was already apparent in Filmworks number nine. Then agian, that is such a great recording. i have no problem with that. And it is not Masada, it's Jamie Saft and Chris Speed playing this material as a duo, which makes it so absolutely cool. The masada songbook is becoming more and more like jazz: you get to hear the interpreters voice, now we know the tunes (and the masada language).

 

I like this development, it got me back to the sometimes spotty Filmworks series.
