## I knew it!! when I heard one of the new albums would be ambient, I thought "I bet it'll be like 'Absinthe'..." so will the next one, which has been mentioned as a cartoon-esque thing, be like 'Cynical Hysterie', or like Carl Stalling or other Zorn cartoon music???? Will they be unique, or 'unoriginal'??? let's hope they're fresh, which i'm sure they will be, but with heavy Zorn-isms (seeing as he'w working with him so much). Anyone knows about the sound of the fantomas new album???
I spoke to Trevor Dunn before the John Zorn show at the Barbican, and he said the first of the new albums will be a 1-track creepy ambient piece, much in the same vein as Absinthe by Naked City. He said that there aren't really noticeable instruments on there, but it is very atmospheric and moody. He said the album should be out in late Autumn or something, and they hope to tour in UK some time early 2004. Can't Wait! Can anyone give me brief reviews/line-ups/thoughts on any of the following Zorn albums, as I need more Zorn stuff!
