Arthur (et. al.): Having seen The Necks live and heard the live albums, I can state that the sound really doesn't change in person. As a matter of fact, I figure there are only minimal overdubs on the studio discs. If you want to be obessive, the band has just released a four-CD set, Athenaeum, Homebush, Quay & Raab on its own Fish of Milk label. And Aether, also on Fish of Milk is pretty good too.
