Copyright issues

I was curious to see if anybody (I'm sure there are a few) had a knowledge of good sources, online and offline, of questions regarding copyrights and the law and stuff like that, particularly regarding arrangements of certain songs. Can ya help me? kga ps--I'm also going for a comprehensive approach
