The Fortune stuff is out there on a bootleg CD called Motor City Doo Wops, although I can't remember if it's credited to AW or the Five Dollars or both. Andre produced a ton of stuff in the 60s. Along with his Motown involvement, he produced a Bobby Blue Bland album. Okay -- it's gettin' to be time for each of us with a CD burner to become the media, otherwise nobody;s gonna get anywhere near that Andre stuff on Fortune. And "Goin' Down To Tijuana" is as brilliant as it gets. sh BTW -- the DICK GIBSON SHOW is a fantastic book. on 12/20/02 7:24 AM, josephneff at jneff@visuallink.com wrote:
Hello, ....haven't heard the Fortune stuff. "Black Godfather" is my only release by him. Is the Fortune stuff in print? BTW Skip, there is an interview w/ him at the Perfect Sound Forever site. IIRC, it talks about Williams being involved w/ Motown during the '60s.
I remain....
