Hi, people of the list!

First of all, thanks for the comments on Duke Ellington and movie music. I forgot to mention one of my all-time favs : George Delerue's Contempt and Shoot the piano player.

I have another question now. Has anybody listened to some of the new reedited from lp cds on verve? Any comments on that beside Albert Ayler's Music is the healing force of the universe? And what about Terry Gibbs plays jewish melodies? Is it good? I'm curious about it, since in the reedition they talk about one of the first experiments crossing klezmer and jazz. Is it a good result?

Thanks,

Rafael

(This is a mix of cds i'm listening a lot lately, trying to  show the tastes of a newbie on writing in the list)
