Hi. I recently saw "Finding Forrester" (which was dissapointing, btw) and was quite surprised. Bill Frisell wrote a lot of music for it, but as it's main theme it uses the last song from the "Quartet" CD. However, in the "Quartet" linernoted it's mentioned that this piece of music was originally composed for the Italian film "La Scuola". This must be a first. At least I can't think of any other examples, where somebody just took the theme from one film and usd it in another. Lets blame it on Hal Wilner. He seems able to destroy anything he gets his hands on.
