I << Hi, Did someone saw that dvd from Bob Ostertag and Pierre Hebert : Between science and garbage ? The advertising is very attractive ! Any comment about that work ? Take care. Manu >> I saw it courtesy of Netflix (they also have Bookshelf). It is an hourlong concert where the animation as well as the music is improvised. The video and audio quality are excellent. Most of the time the image you see is the screen that the audience sees, which is the way it should be. They also cut to show you how the sounds and visuals are being made which is also enlightening. It starts off slow but slowly gets more dense as more layers of sound and animation are added. If I understand correctly, most of the animation and images are created on the spot but they also add images to the mix from previous concerts. This is from a series of antiwar concerts they performed at so a lot of the images are antwar, anti-Bush, etc. I really enjoyed it and recommend hearing it really loud through your stereo.
