I forgot to mention that the Murray performance I'm referring to was released by Hopscotch as "Live at the Miró Foundation", along with Assif Tsahar and Kowald. The recording got excellent reviews, and indeed it was an unforgettable concert, but as I said, I would have preferred to listen rather than see Murray on that occasion. I was lucky to see Sunny Murray with Henry Grimes and David Murray about a month ago at the Bimhuis, and he looked absolutely great. His playing was excellent. Indeed full of fire. One of the greates drummers.
