I just got the new Speed's 'Swell Henry' and after listening to it twica i can say that it is more lyrical than the first 3 Yeah NO that were released by Songlines. The sound is quite ambient-y, softer and without the usual pyrotechnics of Black, that were some of the highlights of Yeah Nio previous releases. Speed's quartet is augmented by Rob Burger on accordion, Jamie Saft on keys and Hilmar Jensson of Black's AlasNoAxis on guitar on 1 track. Nice design by Karlsson Wilker, who did the beautiful design of Claudia Quintet. Peace, Eyal Jason Tors <jasontors@yahoo.com> wrote: alls quiet on the zorn front.. any opinions on these two records? jim black[alasnoaxis] haybor chris speed[yeahno] cant remember the title... jason __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
