As of a few years ago, the "whitey album" was floating around on compact disc, don't know if it is still available. Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestions on the Larry Young - Lawrence of Newark, and complete Mwandishi recordings (found them both in the used section yesterday). When looking for Love Cry Want however, I also came across an album entitled Love Surrender Devotion with John McLaughlin and Carlos Santana that was recorded around the same time. Was this a companion album of sorts, or completely unrelated. Either way, does anyone remember it or have any comments on it.
