I just want to point out another harpist : Helene Breschand. She comes from the contemporary scene. But she is more and more involved in improv. She has recorded with Michel Doneda (sax) and Gerald Zbinden (guitar) on For 4 Ears, and she has a solo album on french label In Situ. She also has a project with guitarist Jean-Francois Pauvros. Emannuel has played in some Zorn groups as well as other downtown bands & a great Leo Smith recording, while Anne Le Baron took part in at least one of Derek Bailey's Company meetings and some other things I can't remember right now. * Though I have to say I like Chico's piano playing a lot more than Harpo's harpistry, but maybe that's just me.
