i wish i was there to see Zorn but i can't afford going down there. there WILL be mass protests though...it might be trouble actually. i just hope Zorn don't support Ariel Sharon's actions. he's a HUGE criminal. bear in mind, i got nothing agains the Isreali people - i'm not saying someone like Arafat is any better. is it really so that Zorn never speaks politics? has he ever spoken his mind on the situation over there? kevin.

Hey Kevin, I'm sure that women would be subject to the same power-mad attitudes if they were in charge. It's a pretty simple-minded attempt at a solution to the world's ills. The problem with politics is that those whodesire power generally aren't the people that you would want in office in the first place. Those that would be best qualified to lead are smart enough to realize that they wouldn't want that sort of power. And so on andso forth..... CraigL. Hi Jason, I watched the site and I appreciate it a lot. It's clear, quick and well balanced with photo/arts/contents. the navigation is clear so I think is really good. Now I'm a project manager, but I developed big sites for big company for many years, be sure, you made a good work. Say the same to Tim! also him made a good work, I love his music. Also Steve made good graphics. Ok, now I'm waiting for the new CD and for concerts in Italy. Bye

Dissertation, University of Leeds (1998). Correct name of the author is Martijn Voorvelt. Hi all, Many years ago a guy named Martyn Voorveltd (Dutch, i think spelled that way) wrote a thesis (he may have published it- I don't know but I doubt it) in which he analyzed several 'experimental' songs - including pieces by this heat and art bears. It was excellent. I am trying to trace it or find him to get a copy... any ideas? Thanks in advance for any leads on this. I thought that both Eric Rutan and Steve Tucker had left the band after the "Gateways to Annihilation" tour. On the subject of metal, I just caught Mastodon live last week. They have one of the most insane drummers I've ever seen, absolutely un-be-lie-va-ble. His drumming consists ONLY of fills, unlike anything I've ever seen before. Besides that, they write killer tunes. All in all, I think I witnessed the future of heavy metal during this concert (as I did when I saw ISIS a couple of months ago). The King Crimson concert at the North Sea Jazz festival wasn't too bad either. They focused on the heavy stuff, with the exception of "One Time". Other than that, we got the best tracks off the last album ("Level Five", "Elektrik", "Dangerous Curves"), and they even played "Red". A bit short at 75 minutes, but still very much OK. Fripp walked off the stage immediately after the music had stopped, he never even looked at the audience. I somehow had the impression that he wasn't too pleased with the whole setting. Frankco

A couple of years ago I played the vocal version while DJ-ing at a Mr.Bungle gig, and I was thinking at the time that it would be the perfect tune for Bungle to cover.
