Here is what I have noticed so far. 1. Get On - has new beginning and is a minute shorter 2. Time Freeze - new ending and is a minute shorter 3. Fat Cry - 5 seconds chopped of beginning 4. Star Breath - 20 seconds shorter, not sure where beginning and end sound the same 5. Tremendous Pain - 20 seconds shorter, end is chopped off 6. Capri Calling - 7 seconds removed from beginning 7. Bostich (reflected) is missing 1.5 minute intro And the biggest surprise! 8. Lost Again (edit) is actually "Desire"
That's how I understood the video. It would be interesting if somebody could compare the tracks with a music software. No idea if you can find out stuff like that. Raphael On Fri, Nov 5, 2010 at 16:02, Jonas Warstad / DiscogInfo <discoginfo@yahoo.com> wrote:

I guess this should mean that some tracks are also remixed (in this case sounds removed, simply put) not only edited/shortened....?

I think, Jonathan's ears are at least as good as any software. He already provided a detailed list of differences. On Fri, Nov 5, 2010 at 4:24 PM, Raphael Ackermann <raphael.ackermann@gmail.com> wrote:

No doubt that he has some fine ears, but still not sure he would detect all the places, where Boris might have removed something. Just curious. On Fri, Nov 5, 2010 at 16:41, Franz Gall <franz.gall@gmail.com> wrote:

These kinds of edits and remixes do not bother me as long as they are the work of Boris --the master tinkerer --and not some shoddy job done by the record label or some nameless producer just to keep the run-time on the disc low. In a way Boris seems a bit like filmmaker George Lucas, always tweaking and never quite calling any composition truly "finished". -----Original Message----- From: yello-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:yello-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Raphael Ackermann Sent: Friday, November 05, 2010 10:45 AM To: The moon: beautiful. Well Ok I will be the first one to say it, I love Boris' old "over-produced" music from the 80s, with lots of intricate and subtle sounds and samples, and would not prefer at all to have his 128 channell mixes for THE RACE or TIED UP etc made more "simple" - even if it's made by him. But of course if he now feels he wants to remix his old music, it's in his full rights as an artist.

I agree with that one. As long Yello (boris or Dieter) were involved with the cuts and mixes, then it' s okay by me. But I can't understand that they (dunno who) mix(f@ck) up Lost Again and Desire. I cant believe that Boris or Dieter knew about that blooper. How is the book with "Yello secrets"? It's really odd that the have Desire twice on the Collection. Somebody should have listened to the test pressing and realize. I imagine it being somebody at Universal that messed up, but still I would expect Boris to make sure that the correct thing will be on the CD. Will try and find out tomorrow at the Meet & Greet. I could imagine that they will have to do a repress of the album, but not sure how that is handled these days. Raphael On Fri, Nov 5, 2010 at 20:35, Arno <arnonatte@gmail.com> wrote:

yeah, so we fast purchasing fans will get punished with the wrong disc outline. If that is the case, it would be nice if the onlnine retailers that we order from would offer the chance to replace our copies down the road. --- On Fri, 11/5/10, Raphael Ackermann <raphael.ackermann@gmail.com> wrote: From: Raphael Ackermann <raphael.ackermann@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [Yello] Anthology track differences To: "The moon: beautiful.
