best of reply - and my input on Best CD and Best song
songs like *3rd of June, Blender, Alhambra, Salut Mayoumba* show the amazing diversity that is YELLO. anyone who truly appreciates what creativity is all about, would include songs like these in a 'Best of' CD. They are songs that would almost never get any radio airplay anywhere in the world, but that - like many of Yello's songs - large chunks of (if not the entire song!), could be used in movies and TV ads - and really add to whatever is seen in the movie or TV ad. About choosing a best release of CD and song: I am surprised nobody has mentioned *One Second*. that was actually the very first CD I ever heard and was hooked ever since. Best song has to be *"Oh Yeah",* regardless of how 'commercial' it has become - and changed with all of the remixes - that song is pure perfection in terms of the genre that Yello generally adheres to, and helped define.
