No one mentioned the great Tuxedomoon
Nay, nay! On January 31, I posted my list, which includes them (I also own a solo album by Blaine Reininger, which features a song about Kraftwerk, "Rolf and Florian go Hawaiian").
Art of Noise Bjork Buzzcocks Cabaret Voltaire Clash Cure Depeche Mode Electronic Esplendore Geometrico Elvis Costello Enigma Fatboy Slim Holger Czukay Honeymoon Killers Joy Division/New Order Kraftwerk Nash the Slash Propellerheads Silicon Teens The The Tuxedomoon Young Marble Giants
As for the OT nature of our respective non-Yello music lists... I also love Yello, but: do I think we should restrict ourselves to listening, discussing, obsessing about them on this list? HELL NO! (I also happen to think the guys from Zurich would agree). This list is the perfect place to discuss other music as well (my apologies to Arno), as everyone here (presumably) loves Yello, thereby indicating that our collective musical tastes overlap, which should result in many of us discovering previously unheard-of artists to enjoy every bit as much as Yello (well, maybe not that much...but you get my drift). I'm already in the process of checking out the music of other listers that I'd never heard of (Goldfrapp being one), and I'm excited by the results I'm getting already! Bob Olson
