My first post to the list. Please be kind. Saw Mr. Meier on Tuesday, April 25 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA at the National Association of Broadcasters conference. He was attending product demonstrations with an unknown companion at an exhibit by American high-tech company, Avid Technology/Digidesign -- http://www.avid.com -- This company makes highly-regarded video/film postproduction systems and audio mixing/mastering systems, so there is dual relevance for Mr. Meier's interest here. He was impeccably dressed, as one would expect. I did not interact, but was definitely upset with myself for not bringing my cameraphone to the event! cgriff
Welcome to the list. But you made me envious - I wish I'd been in Las Vegas myself! On 4/27/06, Casey Griffith <cgriff@ix.netcom.com> wrote:

Was just visiting, for professional reasons... Also from Texas! Seeing Dieter was indeed quite exciting. He was not the only celeb I saw or met at the conference, but he was certainly the most personally significant of those that I saw. For those interested, Mr. Meier is wearing his hair long again these days --much like from the cover of "Baby" --but, of course, it's mostly gray at this point. Still looking utterly sophisticated. cgriff -----Original Message----- From: Tasha [mailto:TourGuide@AusTexEcoTours.com] Sent: Thursday, April 27, 2006 3:22 PM To: cgriff@ix.netcom.com; The moon: beautiful.
