I drive an Audi and was in the dealership recently. I was told the NEW A4/S4 (that much of the yello music was written/condensed for) won't be out in the USA until Oct/Nov 08 range. Maybe it is possible that Yello is having to wait on the release of the new model in the States before releasing their new album to the public.

Yes the new album is still in the works and will hopefully be released this year. The Danger Global Warming track was a side project and YELLO finished their remix for it months ago.
As far as the new album goes they have released that Heidi Happy will be a featured vocalist on the new album. You can listen to her here. Great Voice.
