how is it that you are able to listen to 2 new songs off the CD that is being released next month?  You said you have listed to 'the expert' and 'part love'?  How?!

Also, does anyone know who the musicians are on this new CD?  Is it possible that Beat Ash and Chico Hablas have returned?!

My favorite Pre-Essential Yello albums are "baby" and "Claro
Que Si." Favorite songs from this period are "Ballet Mecanique", "Capri Calling", "Rubber West", and "Sweet Thunder".

My favorite Post-Essential Yello album is "Zebra". Favorite songs from this period are "Fat Cry", "Monolith", "Junior B", and "Squeeze Please".

I tend to judge each album by it's own merits, so I can't say I have a least favorite. And I agree that a "Best of" album should compliment Essential rather than imitate it. My suggested track listing for a "Best of" album would go like this:

CD1
Bananas to the Beat (New Mix in One Go version)
Blue Green
Daily Disco
She's Got a Gun (Bostich 12" version)
Ballet Mecanique
Salut Mayoumba
Ciel Ouvert
Moon On Ice
Alhambra
Blazing Saddles
Capri Calling
Sweet Thunder

CD2:
Night Train
Fat Cry
Poom Shanka
Vicious Games (from the CD single "Do It")
Ciel Ouvert (Hands On Yello version)
Live At The Roxy (Hands on Yello version)
Monolith
Liquid Lies
Cyclops
Nervous
Junior B
Time Palace

Absolutely! If at all possible, Chico Hablas and Beast Ash should return to contributing their talents to Yello. I also miss seeing Ernst Gamper's artwork on Yello album covers.
