Yes sounds like it.

There were vinyl LPs in the 80s for this purpose

called library LPs. It did not sound like samples to me,

as they were going to give away 1 min excerpts, but

also not like “normal” music. I guess Boris had really fun

doing this. But not Dieter. /JW

This is stock music.

People who need music for tv,radio or other media.

Like you see a program about rafting in a wild river. They,(the editor, ) needs action music.

And they choose stockmusic from ,..in this case, Extreem music.

I used to do that. Extreem music is one of the best labels for stock music.
