Hi TashaETTE.....

Lovedette yourette wordettes youette wrotette inette replyette toette Laurens commentettes aboutette "cutesyette wootsyette" girliette endingettes toette wordettes toette makette themette morette femininette!!!!!!!ette...

Now, surely a man that went to "public shcool" and was born and raised in Canada has less right to comment on the bastardisation of the "English Language" than a gal, such as myself, that was born and bred in England.  Protocol on this matter is surely self-explanatory....if us girlETTES wish to bastardiseETTE words, then let us get on with it Laurens....I have seen your photo and I do not ridicule you for having somewhat feminine curly hair do I now.....lol
This is all written with humour and good will in mind....it ismeant to be amusing and NOT malicious, so please, no one misinterprite it as such!

Gee, I would have thought the artistic folks on this list would appreciate a little language enhancement, if only to serve the purpose of my personal whims.  Isn’t that what art is, anyway?!

Ya know???  It has nothing to do with necessity at all.  Besides, now, let’s define what the “English” language is anyways…  it aint’ American or Canadian either…  technically…

I guess that cute-sy feminizing ending would be necessary, IF the definition of 'FAN' was: "a Male that is an avid follower of an artform or artist..."  but I don't see that in any of the dictionaries I have looked in.

Sometimes the habit of adding gender denoting endings to words aids in the destruction of the language, along with peoples hypersensitivity to real words that have been taken on in slang to represent acts or anatomical parts of humans, or used to demean others, which just won't do, words such as Dick, Cock, Ass, Uranus, (myanus), Dickie, Cougar, Hamster, Chick, his/her, dumb, Blind, Fat, Short, Crap, Retarded.......

Let's all try to reinstate the beautiful colour of the english language, and restore it to the level it used to be.  none of this word 'LITE' crap

To each his own,

Thanks,
Laurens van Graft

Yes, from Texas I also add “ette” to the end of various words to feminize them.
