I agree with everything except your feelings on Heidi Happy. I haven't heard a voice more suited for Yello in a long time. I really hope they bring her back on future albums. She has a Stina Nordanstam sound to her but with a friendly girl next door quality. You mentioned the lyrics on "You Better Hide " seemed to have been written for Billy Mackenzie. I think that says a lot for Heidi as she has confessed in articles that everything she sings on the album she wrote herself. That seems to say she does fit well with Yello. I didn't like any of the Jade Davies songs on The Eye. She seemed to be pushing herself to reach the mark where Heidi makes it look so easy and natural. Takla Makan for what it is is amazing. The masterful flute of Dorothee Oberlinger is mesmerizing. But the song is missing one thing. ......... "DRUMS".
