If the albums or 'originals' are re-released on DVD or any other format, and especially if they are "re-mastered", then they wont be the originals! The originals live on (in) vinyl, and any other format is not the original, so, since I have shopped around the used record shops, (especially when I travel to other cities and countries), I search for the ORIGINAL material. YES, I will be very happy to have the original albums and singles re- mastered and re-released in a more up to date format, but that will only add to the collection, it won't replace the originals. Especially the album art, a 4" square picture doesn't do justice to those dynamite paintings they have gracing the covers!!! Laurens van Graft The Grip Guy All your gymnastics grip needs right here! I though the idea is to get the original songs as they were. If we get now too different versions, then we want yet again the originals.
Surround and SACD would just waste space and reduce the number of extras.
