I have never heard anything about Piet Blank from Blank & Jones being Boris's Son. But there are Yello connections to Blank & Jones.
First of all the Desire mixes have samples from Yello's Oh Yeah in them but have nothing to do with the Desire track by Yello.
Second Dieter vocalized a track for them called "A New Culture Is Born" on the album DJ Culture.
There are 2 versions one is 1:56 (from the 12" vinyl) and the other is 3:13 from the CD album.
