I see that my faves haven't come up.  Flag, and Tied Up, with that screaming guitar totally rocks.  But I haven't been listening to Yello so much these days, it's kind of like the CDs are hallowed, for special occasions.  But I will make an effort now to go back through them all again.... and videos too.  I think everybody should toss in their favorite videos now....  mine?  hmm.  Maybe Bimbo?  After seeing the little preview for the Touch movie, it's all I can think about.  no, I think The Race.  Yes, The Race.  I like how they mix the old videos, and have Boris wearing that old style racing garb.

Subject: [Yello] Best of Yello

Hi all my fellow Yello fans!

With all of the excitement over the new 'Touch' CD and the concert, I felt compelled to ask a couple questions to my fellow Yello fans around the world about what your choices are for the BEST SONGS of Yello.

To be more specific, I thought, what are the songs that are pre-ESSENTIAL YELLO that could fit onto CD1 (1980 - 1991) - and what are the songs that are post-ESSENTIAL that could fit onto CD2 (1994 - 2007)?  I think it should most definitely be allowed to use songs from the REMIX releases, as there are some amazing songs there - especially from 'Hands on Yello' and 'Eccentrix Remixes' for CD2.

Just another thought I had...if Yello ever decides to do something next year to celebrate their 30th year of amazing music, by releasing a "Best of" CD....it would be interesting to see if our ideas, match theirs!!

I hope to hear loads of replies on this one...as I am sure everyone will have some unique choices and explanations of 'why' they chose those songs!  I will be happy to let my own choices be known, once I see what everyone else has to say.  :o)
