Not to discount Yello, but I wouldn't use their music for meditation. I listen to Yello to get myself moving! I frequently listen to Thom Brennan for meditation and relaxation. I *highly* recommend his music, especially "Satori" (1hr 14 minutes, one track!) and "Strange Paradise". http://www.thombrennan.net/products-group-57.html Samples: http://www.thombrennan.net/music.html Another good artist is Altus. You can download the albums at his site. I recommend Winter Embrace and Excursion One and Two: http://www.altusmusic.ca/download.html John Szpara Private Pilot Fiero Owner ----- Original Message ---- From: Jon Kamm <kammagic@comcast.net> To: yello@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Sun, December 13, 2009 11:59:41 PM Subject: [Yello] yello meditation Here is a quick list I came up. Like "To The Sea" the "Rhythm Divine" or "Capri Calling' to name a few. I used to love to sleep to the entire Solid Pleasure album played at a low volume. _______________________________________________ Yello mailing list Yello@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/yello Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com
