With regard to the samples... A mixer / producer I know in the UK will use a sample, then release the record as a bootleg, and of course the band / artiste concerned would hear and either disapprove, or like it. If they disapprove, it was only limited release, if they like, they recieve credit and royalties, and the record gets a full release. Good luck, but I hope the above guides you. I had to cut out the Yello samples because I don't want any trouble with our frends and recordlabel. In Holland I got a nice radioairplay here ,so with a bit of luck it might reach the charts.:)
