This is great news! I can hardly wait for a chance to view this, regardless of what condition it is in! However: let's just pre-warn you, if you haven't heard the warnings before: It will not matter what you choose to transfer this from VHS to DVD, there is one person that will forget the fact that the tape was made in 1988 (and probably has some inherent flaws, or some will be introduced during the transfer process) and bitch bitch bitch about the lack of quality and professionalism of the transferred media, or what format was chosen to present the media in its newly digitized form. Hello all
I don't know if any of you in the UK recall this, but there was a 40-minute documentary about Yello shown on a UK TV music programme called 'Snub TV' back in 1988, just as the 'Flag' LP was coming out. It had interviews with Boris and Dieter plus footage of 'Snowball' and promo video clips. I've had it on VHS for 18 years but have now finally got a DVD recorder and hope to preserve it on DVD this week. Not sure if this is something every Yello fan on the list already has a copy of or whether it's new to most of you...if it's new to most of you maybe it should be released into the wild for Yello fans to enjoy?
