Before Yello, Boris and Carlos were together in a Band called Urland. Carlos derscribes their stile as sort of fake free jazz. Boris played guitar. At rehearsels the two jammed together on Carlos keyboards. The drummer sternini disliked that, so they settled off, and started together their tranceonic studio. This was 1977- 78.
