| the morning after the most amazing night ever! pictures and possible clips of the show to follow later when I get back to Manchester. quick summary- Managed to get a front row seat and noticed the seat 4 to my left was reserved for Dieter Meier. Minutes before the show started in walked Boris Blank who promptly just sat down in the middle of the audience! I think he was sitting with some of his family. He was very agreeable to signing electronic beats booklets, which had a Yello interview enclosed and have brief discussions with all- has a great sense of humour! Dieter then presented the opening of the show and we had live music from the trumpet guy (sorry- forgot his name in all the excitement!) and Heidi Happy- both were fantastic! We then had the presentation of the "Touch Yello" video montage, which was a collection of about 8 songs from the album in video format- all very well done and humerous- will make an excellent DVD! All tracks were brilliant and paticulary liked the new version of "Bostich"- marketed the right way, that could be a massive hit for the young generation. Dieter and Boris then closed the show and both were happy to have photos, autographs, discussions about life music and everything for a good half hour. What a night! Damian |
