it could well be FLAC, but think that should not be a problem as you can convert one lossless format to another without loss of quality. Not sure if the same applies to high def lossless formats though.

Yes a download is included in the box set. Either Hi Def or normal. No need to pledge for download if pledging for box set

you pledge an amount and then you select which item you want to get.
If you want multiple items you'll have to sign up to kickstarters with multiple accounts(email adresses) which is a bit of a pain but doable.
To get a comprehensive set of materials you could get the following.
* The boxset which includes the vinyl, cd, tape. This has all the music.
* The high qualiy digital audio. This is better quality then what is on the cd.
As a collector you should get also the following items.
* The lyrics sheet (no music on that one)
* And if you want to go all the way, get the autographed and numbered boxset instead of the regular one.

Boris Blank is running a kickstarter campaign to release three hours of unreleased soundtracks spanning 5 decades.

There are 8 days left to fund the project and only GBP 5000.- left.
Anybody who wants a copy of the box set or the digital download or the promo cd please add a pledge on the kickstarter project. If the goal won't be reached in 8 days, the whole project will not be done and nobody will receive the music which would be such a shame.
Do not wait for the album to be available in shops after the campaign. If the campaign is not successful there will be no after :(
