Only five Saturdays left! Shout out to the Department of Natural Resources and County Fire who will be helping us chip! * Start now! Work on the area around your home first, starting with low brush and trees along the road. * Put your pile(s) in front of your home on the city right-of-way (next to the road, but NOT on the road). * The chipper crew only comes to your house ONCE (after it has passed, don't put more out). * Do NOT take your neighbor's chipped piles without their permission. * We will be piling your chips adjacent to where your chipper pile was located. * Please rake out your chips after your chipping has finished or move them to another location (they are a fire hazard). Don't leave the chips in piles. * Don't use mechanical equipment (no tractors) to stack your piles. Only hand-stack your branches so the chipping crews can separate them easily. * Stack the thick part of the branch towards the road (see picture). * Your chipping pile needs to be completed prior to MAY 31st. * Please log your clearing hours by filling out this online Google Doc form ( https://woodlandhills-ut.us19.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2ffdbabb491f2799... ) .
