Costo has a nice wireless, solar powered weather station from Oregon Scientific. It lists of $400.00. The best price I could find on the Internet was $300.00. Costco is selling it for $200.00. I bought one recently and am well pleased with it. It does it all, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure (local and sea level), wind, wind chill, rain (auto-dumping), dew point, forcasting, etc., with histories. It is truely a good value. retenney@yahoo.com 11/24/03 11:59PM >>> A colleague at work asked me today about weather stations available on the Wasatch front (he lives in Kaysville); seems his mother is in the market for one ($400 or less). Anyone on the list know of something recommendable? I suspect the best deals are probably on the web, or...? Anyway, I figured someone here might be into that sort of thing.

Aloha The Oregon Scientific unit is quite nice and hosts many indicators. A good buy. I upgraded from a built it yourself Heathkit from many years ago. Rob
