Check out Orem resident Tyler Allred's nice work
Just wanted to share some of the spectacular deep sky images Orem resident Tyler Allred's been posting to the utah-astronomy list recently for those of you not on it. You can see his work in the gallery here: http://www.utahastronomy.com/album16 He's got some other nice images there (solar system objects, nature photos), and there are others at that site worth a peek. Enjoy, Rich __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Small Business - Try our new resources site! http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/resources/

Happily Tyler has agreed to conduct a CCD seminar using the Big Scope at SPOC. Can't wait to see those pictures. Patrick
Hello All, For anyone that wants to make a red night light to use while star gazing, here is an cheap way. Red plastic celephane does NOT work; too much white light still gets through. A thick, red plastic cup works perfect. Just cut the bottom out of a red plastic cup. It works perfect! If you unscrew the top of a flash light, there is a regular, clear plastic cover above the bulb were you can place the newly-made red plastic insert. You can buy a cheap flashlight at the Dollar store. Sean Humpherys
