Rich, I may be able to make it. I'm thinking of seeing my allergist in Orem around that time but I'll have to check the weather and sky conditions. I wish I had the opportunity to look through scopes when I was a teenager. As I recall, last time we were clouded out there. Debbie

Mark, I'm thinking I'll shoot for 8pm setup in the parking lot at the trail head. Sorry I don't have exact directions -- you turn in (right) at the Timpanookie (don't even know if I spelled that right) campground and proceed a hundred yards or so up to a large parking area that starts the trailhead to Mt. Timpanogos, if I remember correctly. It seems like it's a 10 or 15 minute drive up the canyon from the entrance, but I may be wrong about that too. Anyway, also be prepared to pay the entrance fee, though you may be able to convince the park ranger that you are only coming up to help with a star party at a girl's camp and they may waive the fee.
