From Lehi, I was able to see a total of 7 from about 11:30 to 1:00
there were about 3 that were very bright and left a fairly large train.
sitting in a shadow from the moon helped alot.

Just spent 30 minutes laying on my roof looking for Perseids (0152 to 0222 MDT).
While it is pretty cloudy there are lots of big holes and much of the cloud
cover is thin enough to see stars through it.
However, during my 30 minutes I only saw 1 very bright Perseid that left a train
about 15 degrees long, 1 sporadic that actually flew into Perseus and one airplane.
Anyone have any better luck?
Patrick :-)
BTW, Mars next to the Moon looked very nice.
